It is said that if Jardine wins, Lyoto Machida will have a chance instead to grab theLightweight Title. And this is what Jackson doesn't want to happen. He really wants to reclaim the title belt.
It was said in the news (usatoday.com) that Jardine was being trained by Rashad right now. It seems that Rashad and Jardine were good friends and he said that there's no way they were going to fight afterwards. And that's what the UFC president doesn't like about Jardine. UFC Pres. Dana White said that Jardine feels that he's in a basketball or football league. He said that UFC is not a teamwork fight but an individual fight.
WHO WILL WIN IN UFC 96?
Jardine has a very powerful legs while Jackson throws great punches. Jackson will have another challenging fight because Jardine uses his legs this is what he will avoid on their fight. If you will remember in UFC 86, Jackson loses his title because of the short kicks thrown by Griffin. And it seems all the fighters in this division already knows Jackson's weakest point.
